BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
March 2, 2021: The Commission waived Baldwin County Commission Policy #9.10 - Engineering, Environmental Monitoring and Surveying Services and approved on-call consultant TTL, Inc., to perform design services for the County Road 20 Extension Project with design fees not to exceed $250,000.00.
September 22, 2020: The Commission adopted Resolution #2020-127 and approved the FY 2021 Budget allocating $535,000.00 for Design and Right-of-Way for the County Road 20 Extension Project.
Background:
Traffic studies performed on S. Hickory Street and County Road 65 recommend that a traffic signal be installed at the intersection of County Road 20 and S. Hickory Street and a roundabout be installed at the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 65. The design for these intersection improvements will be added to the in-progress County Road 20 extension design.
