STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Service Agreement(s) between the Baldwin County Commission and Uniti Fiber, LLC to renew contracts and upgrade circuit at Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) for Internet and Telecommunication Services, at a cost of $60,420.00 per year.
The Service Agreement(s) are effective for thirty-six (36) months and commence immediately upon the same date of full execution.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: 03/06/2019
Background: Baldwin County Commission awarded Uniti Fiber, LLC (Southern Light) Internet and Telecommunication Services on March 6, 2019, in the total amount of $79,780.72 per year.
Internet and Telecommunication Services renewal and upgrade are for a total amount of $60,420.00 per year. Voice over IP (VOIP) is not included in this renewal. The VOIP Service Term would expire on 06/28/2023.
The location of internet and telecommunications circuit upgrade - back up connection, will be located at Emergency Management Agency (EMA), 23100 McAuliffe Drive, Robertsdale, Alabama 36567.
