STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Award the bid for the Provision of Annual Traffic Signal Repair to Bagby and Russell Electric Company, Inc., as per the attached Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. The Contract shall be effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for a period of twelve (12) months.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on July 25, 2022, at 2:30 P.M. One (1) bid was received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Annual Traffic Signal Repair to Bagby and Russell Electric Company, Inc., as per the attached Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.
Previous Commission action/date:
07/05/2022 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Provision of Annual Traffic Signal Repair for the Baldwin County Commission; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
