STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve the promotion of Brian Lunsford from the Operator Technician III position (#329) grade 310 ($19.13 per hour / $39,790.40 annually) to fill the open Operator Technician IV position (PID #5684) at a grade 312 ($20.66 per hour / $42,972.80 annually) to be effective no sooner than December 19, 2022; and

2) Approve the promotion of Joseph Harris from the Operator Technician I position (#713) grade 308 ($17.72 per hour / $36,857.60 annually) to fill the open Operator Technician II position (PID #665) at a grade 309 ($19.14 per hour / $39,811.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than December 19, 2022; and

3) Approve the employment of Nicholas Parker to fill the open Operator Technician Trainee position (#5685) at a grade 306 ($14.90 per hour / $30,992.00 annually) to be effective no sooner than December 12, 2022.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Operator Technician IV and Operator Technician Trainee positions were created during the FY22/23 Budget Cycle and the Operator Technician III position was vacated due to the promotion of the previous employee. The County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
