STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Purchase and Installation of Ceiling Netting for Area 300 - Highway Maintenance Facility located in Foley, Alabama; and

 

2) Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

Background:  Joey Nunnally, County Engineer, is requesting to install ceiling netting in Area 300 - Highway Maintenance Facility due to birds causing damage to the ceiling insulation in the maintenance shop area.  Staff recommends the Commission approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid.
