STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2023-082, which approves Case No. Z23-4, Turner Property, as it pertains to the rezoning of 17.08 +/- acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 32, from RSF-2, Single Family District and RMF-6, Multiple Family District to RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RSF-2, Single Family District and RMF-6, Multiple Family District.  The subject property is located south of US Highway 98, east of County Road 95, on the South side of Josephine Drive.  The adjacent properties are residential and rural.  The requested zoning designation is RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate District.  According to the submitted information the purpose of this request is to develop the property for residential single-family use.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their March 2, 2023, meeting and voted to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.  Staff's recommendation is to APPROVE the rezoning request.
