Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2023-109 amending the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget (Resolution #2022-165 and #2022-166, adopted September 20, 2022) to authorize additional funding of $5,465,000.00 for Fund 512 Recycle Center capital expenditures for the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: September 20, 2022
Background: The Baldwin County Commission adopted the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget on September 20, 2022, per Resolution #2022-166, which included the amount of $9,535,000.00 for the Recycle Center portion of the MRF project. Based on updated cost estimates for project completion, staff is requesting an additional $5,465,000.00 to increase the overall budgeted amount to $15,000,000 to fund additional necessary capital expenditures.
