Recommendation
Approve the request from Mr. Tre Williams, Director of Poor Man’s Bass Tournament Series, to waive boat launch fees for the Will Brooks Memorial Scholarship Foundation Fishing Tournament to be held at Live Oak Landing on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Mr. Williams requests to waive the boat launch fees for the Will Brooks Memorial Scholarship Foundation Fishing Tournament hosted by Poor Mans Bass Tournament Series, to be held at Live Oak Landing on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Per Policy #2.23 Live Oak Landing Facility Usage and Fishing Tournament Fees, all for-profit usage requests or special events at Live Oak Landing must be approved by the Baldwin County Commission with the exception of fishing tournaments with proper reservation approval.
Any reservations made for Live Oak Landing prior to Policy #2.23 revision date of July 19, 2022, will be honored and grandfathered in with the old rate schedule of $5.00 per boat. The Poor Mans Bass Tournament series made reservations prior to July 19, 2022; therefore, they are grandfathered in at the old rate of $5.00 per boat.
Previous Commission action/date: July 19, 2022 - The BCC revised Policy #2.23 to update Live Oak Landing boat launch fees.
