Recommendation
Award the quote for installing two (2) existing Generators and one (1) new Automatic Transfer Switch at the North and South End Building Maintenance Facilities located in Bay Minette and Foley, Alabama, to Power Systems of MS, LLC, in the amount of $33,702.00 and authorize the Chairman to execute the Public Works Contract and the Certificate of Compliance. End
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Commission approved in the FY 2024 Budget funding to move two (2) existing generators for Bay Minette Building Maintenance Facility and the Foley Building Maintenance Facility and to purchase and install one (1) new Automatic Transfer Switch at the Foley Maintenance Shop. A quote was received from the County vendor that currently has our annual generator maintenance bid. Power Systems of MS, LLC, submitted a quote for all of the work in the amount of $33,702.00. Staff recommends the Commission award the quote to Power Systems of MS, LLC, and authorize the Chairman to execute the Public Works Contract and the Certificate of Compliance.
