Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2024-092, which approves Case No Z24-03, Vaughan Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of approximately 2.52 acres, more or less, located in the Planning (Zoning) District 22, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to B-2, Neighborhood Business District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, and is vacant. The property is located at the southeast corner of County Road 32 and County Road 87 intersection. The property to the west is zoned RA, Rural Agricultural, and is vacant. The adjoining property to the south and east is zoned RSF-1, Residential Single-Family District, and is vacant. The property adjoining the north is unzone Planning District 18. The owner requests to rezone 2.52 acres from RA to B-2 and to divide the 5-acre parcel into two 2.52-acre lots and the lot that fronts County Road 87 and County Road 32 would be used for commercial development.
The Planning Commission considered this request at their March 7, 2024, meeting and voted 10-1 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
