Adopt Resolution #2024-091, which approves Case No. Z24-02, Carillon Oaks Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 2.91 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 15, from CR, Conservation Resource, to B-1, Professional Business.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The subject property is currently zoned CR, Conservation Resource, and is located in Planning District 15, west of State Highway 181 and south of Sommerset Drive. The applicant is asking for a portion of the property to be rezoned to B-1, Professional Business, for the purpose of building a childcare facility and professional office space.
The Planning Commission considered this request at their March 7, 2024, meeting and voted 9-2 to recommend DENIAL to the County Commission.
Previous Commission action/date: August 17, 2021 - Adopted Resolution #2021-098, which approved a rezoning from RSF-3, Residential Single Family, to CR, Conservation Resource.
