STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Award Bid #WG25-23 for the Purchase and Installation of Intelligence-Led Policing Equipment and Software to ProTecVideo, LLC, as per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. (Contract effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for twelve (12) months.)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on April 17, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. One (1) bid was received. Staff recommendation is to award the bid for the Purchase and Installation of Intelligence-Led Policing Equipment and Software to ProTecVideo, LLC, as per the Award Listing.

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

04/01/2025 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Purchase and Installation of Intelligence-Led Policing Equipment and Software for the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

Total cost of recommendation:  $132,000.00
