STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve the Intergovernmental Service Agreement between Baldwin County and the Town of Magnolia Springs for Area 300 Crews to clean ditches and flush pipes on Jessamine Street from Live Oak Avenue to McCoy Lane inside Magnolia Town limits for an estimated cost of $18,258.20 for labor and equipment.

 

The Town of Magnolia Springs will be billed upon completion of work.

 

(The term of this agreement shall be for twelve months from the date of full execution of both parties and may be terminated as set forth therein.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

 

April 16, 2019 - The Commission approved the Intergovernmental Service Agreement between Baldwin County and the Town of Magnolia Springs for Area 300 Crews to clean a ditch along Magnolia Springs Highway inside Magnolia Town Limits for an estimated cost of $14,666.20 for labor and equipment.

 

Background:  The Town of Magnolia Springs is requesting assistance from Baldwin County to clean ditches and flush pipes on Jessamine Street between Live Oak Avenue and McCoy Lane inside Magnolia Town Limits.  Magnolia Springs will be invoiced upon completion of the project.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

 

Total cost of recommendation:  The Town of Magnolia Springs will be billed quarterly for the actual cost of work performed.
