STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Authorize the Chairman to execute a Quitclaim Deed conveying any and all right and title to that portion of right-of-way owned by Baldwin County on County Road 95 (from the intersection of South Bayou Drive northwest approximately 1,400 feet to the end of County maintenance) to the City of Orange Beach.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Baldwin County Commission funded the resurfacing of County Road 95 from US Highway 98 south to end of maintenance in the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget. The City of Orange Beach agreed to accept responsibility for County Road 95 from the intersection of South Bayou Drive northwest approximately 1,400 feet to the end of County maintenance upon completion of the resurfacing project.
On June 21, 2022, the City of Orange Beach adopted Ordinance No. 2022-1417 approving the annexation of the portion of County Road 95.
Previous Commission action/date:
May 3, 2022: The BCC adopted Resolution #2022-082 authorizing annexation and transfer of responsibility for a portion of County Road 95 (from the intersection of South Bayou Lane northwest approximately 1,400 feet to the end of County maintenance) to the City of Orange Beach.
